These tanneries use processes that reduce chemical use and the impact on watershed. Additionally, an environmentally preferred durable water repellent DWR helps prevent leather from drying out.

The shoe is made for comfort with a waterproof, nubuck leather upper and compression molded underfoot cushioning that provides excellent arch support. The wool felt lining keeps feet cozy on cold nights, while the KEEN.warm 200g insulation helps keep feet warm in temperatures down to -25° f / -32° c.
